"Dean Drouillard opens his new EP with the Dick Dale-style wave-riding riffs of Chocolate Toupee. At mid-song he switches into house band at a bohemian Tiki lounge. The rest of the album continues to move through scenes that are the aural equivalent of watching montages of old movie clips.
